Tyler E. Osburn
Tyler primarily practices in the areas of general business, employment law, sales representative compensation, and civil litigation. Tyler strives to maintain an open and honest dialogue with his clients, all while providing vigorous and ethical advocacy. When someone calls him regarding a legal issue, that person can rest assured that Tyler will take the time needed to listen and truly understand the issue. In short, Tyler’s key to success is treating everyone with dignity and respect, regardless of whether it is a large corporate client or an individual seeking guidance. Tyler is also bilingual in English and Spanish.
Originally from Big Rapids, Tyler graduated with his Bachelor of Arts degree from Hope College. After graduation, he worked for a non-profit in Holland providing services to migrant and seasonal farmworkers. After working in the non-profit sector for over two years, Tyler felt a calling to attend law school. He went on to receive a full-tuition scholarship to Thomas M. Cooley Law School and graduated Magna Cum Laude with his law degree. During law school, Tyler first interned with the Honorable Judge Canady of the Ingham County Circuit Court, and later with Schenk Boncher. He was hired on right after graduation and has been with the firm ever since.
Tyler is a member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan. He is admitted to practice in all state courts in Michigan, the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
In his free time, Tyler can usually be found either spending quality time with his daughters or fishing.
